Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched more than 700 attack drones over the course of April 1, including over 360 UAVs deployed from morning to evening.
According to the military, 345 drones were destroyed using авиація, air defense systems, interceptor drones, and electronic warfare. Despite this, strikes were recorded at 14 locations, with casualties reported in several regions. A few drones remained in the air as of the latest update.
Overnight, Russian forces had already launched 339 drones, of which 298 were shot down. The attacks targeted central and western regions of Ukraine.
In the Cherkasy Oblast, four people were killed. Strikes on energy infrastructure were reported in Zakarpattia Oblast and Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, while in Ternopil Oblast a предприятие was hit.
