On the night of April 1, the city of Lutsk came under attack by Russian forces.
According to the city council, a strike was recorded at around 06:55 on one of the industrial facilities. The scale of the destruction and the impact on production capacities are still being assessed. Emergency crews from the State Emergency Service are working to extinguish fires and clear debris.
Officials reported that a Russian drone hit an industrial site, while debris from a Shahed UAV damaged a residential apartment building.
Later, Mayor Ihor Polishchuk уточнив, що серед основних цілей атаки були склад Nova Poshta та продуктовий склад однієї з торговельних мереж. У багатоповерхівці було пошкоджено балкон, де виникла пожежа.
Повітряна тривога в місті тривала з 05:58 до 07:06.
Damage to residential building
A multi-story residential building was also affected: windows were shattered, and a fire broke out on a top-floor balcony. Emergency services quickly extinguished the blaze. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
Explosions were also reported overnight in Khmelnytskyi, where a fire broke out at an enterprise, as well as in Sumy, Mykolaiv, and Kryvyi Rih as part of the broader ночная атака across Ukraine.
