Several Ukrainian regions have experienced temporary power disruptions following Russian attacks on energy facilities and ongoing hostilities, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported.
According to officials, consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Sumy, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions have been partially left without electricity.
Energy workers are operating in emergency mode and carrying out round-the-clock repair work to restore power supply as quickly as possible.
Authorities stated that no scheduled power restrictions are currently planned. However, consumers are advised to monitor updates from regional distribution operators in case the situation changes.
Officials also urged households to reduce electricity consumption during peak evening hours (18:00–22:00) to help ease pressure on the power system.
The outages come amid continued Russian strikes targeting Ukraine’s critical energy infrastructure, which have repeatedly caused localized blackouts across the country.
