During a massive overnight missile and drone attack on Kyiv, the building of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers was damaged, officials confirmed.
Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko said windows in the government building were blown out due to the blast. She also published photos showing the extent of the damage.
Svyrydenko noted that there were no casualties inside the building. She added that across Ukraine more than 80 people were injured and at least four were killed in the wave of strikes.
She described the attack as further evidence that Russia is unable to achieve its military objectives and is increasingly targeting civilian and state infrastructure instead.
Ukrainian authorities reported widespread damage across all districts of Kyiv, including impacts on cultural institutions such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building and the National Art Museum of Ukraine.
