The 16th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released video footage showing strikes against Russian forces operating in the northern part of the Kharkiv region.

According to the unit, Russian occupying troops continue attempts to advance in border settlements. Recently, small infantry groups of two to three soldiers reportedly tried to infiltrate the villages of Budarky and Zemlianky, located near the temporarily occupied Dykhtiarne.

Ukrainian border guards from the “Hart” brigade identified the enemy route and carried out precise strikes against the advancing troops. In addition to infantry losses, Russian forces reportedly lost a vehicle intended to deliver reinforcements, as well as a mortar system and a stockpile of ammunition. The military also published footage showing the destruction of Russian personnel.

Ukrainian defenders stated that Russian soldiers also attempted to break through Ukrainian positions and re-enter the town of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region. According to the report, enemy groups that remained trapped in the city following Ukrainian counterattacks were either eliminated or taken prisoner.
